First, let me apologize that I am way behind in Flickring. I was out of town for a week, and it was busy!. I wish I could say it was all pleasure, but business poked it's head in. The first part of my trip was pure fun. I went to see my mother, and took her out for a belated birthday adventure. Second half, I flew to Northern California for business. There are big changes coming my way. I felt very comfortable in California...like to the point that I slept well. I take that as a good sign. The expense of the area scares me a bit, but I guess a sort of paradise has a price, right? The traffic also sucks, but the area I would move to is tame in that area. The people I met with were just so laid back. I now understand why folks say the west coast is a bit soft. I can see myself there. This new week requires a big decision on my part.
A week away also caused me to truly miss friends I have in the virtual world. It is always a bit startling at how people I have not met face to face make an impact. Chances are that I will never meet most of them in person, but still, when we don't speak for a bit a space is left open. Honestly, I love the connection. It proves to me that there is no real SL versus RL. If we are friends you are a part of my RL. Shhhh, just take it. ♥
