Never have I considered myself an interior decorator. Really, I feel a bit clumsy around pretty trinkets. Somehow, I have managed to decorate both of our houses to some sort of satisfactory state. I also don't consider myself much of a decor photographer. I barely think of myself as a fashion photographer.
Shiny Shabby opened up yesterday, and as I combed the aisles for anything male related...and of course my LODE flowers, I noticed just how cool much of the decor creations are lately. NUTMEG has a gacha out and the items it contains really had me feeling nostalgic. You see, I am old enough to have actually used a rotary phone. The phone she put out looks like the one my great grandmother had in her house. It was also a time that pretty much everyone had an old heavy ash tray around, because it would be rude to not allow your smoker friends to light up inside your house. I think every girl kept a diary full of secrets and crushes. To snoop around in a girl's diary was absolute betrayal. A few little things at a virtual event took me back to another time, and it did make me smile.
