"Deciduous means "falling off at maturity"or "tending to fall off", and it is typically used in order to refer to trees or shrubs that lose their leaves seasonally (most commonly during autumn) and to the shedding of other plant structures such as petals after flowering or fruit when ripe. In a more general sense, deciduous means "the dropping of a part that is no longer needed" or "falling away after its purpose is finished". In plants it is the result of natural processes. We have finally set a date for the opening of the de*cid*u*ous Sim. I think we have been working on this thing for 3 months...mostly Tate. She has the difficult job of making my messes pretty. My job has been to try to recreate moments in my life I have shed, or am still trying to shed. Not a far stretch in my opinion on what relationships are all about. You just learn how to help your partner clean up the collateral damage of others before you, and life in general. The permanent damage you just have to plant their favorite flowers so it is easier to look at. I think we encounter this in our friendships too. You meet people that want to sink their greedy hands into wounds for a squeeze, but if you are lucky, you meet the ones that will plant a few seeds too.
So, we plan to open up July 15th! It will be a soft open. The first week will be by invitation only. I am picking my favorite photographers to invite. Tate will most likely pick her favorite landscape photographers. For the private week, everyone will be able to rez without a group tag. After that, group membership will be required to rez. Group membership will be 0 lindens, and there will not be a donation box. The purpose of the sim is to be eye catching, a little odd, and whatever you see.
