My entire professional life has been spent ladder climbing, and seeking that prize. I have worked for people, and owned my own business. Sometimes I hear people talk about finding the balance between work life and having a quality of life. As I get older, that pendulum swings quite naturally towards more play, and less work. At least I think so.
Recently, I have taken the steps towards starting another business. It is tough. At my age I should not be thinking about starting up a new venture. The thing is my self worth is completely measured by my productivity. If this mad scientist mind is not thinking of how to do it better, I am just not happy.
So, here is to a new adventure. Everything will be out of balance for awhile. My energy will be focused and one sided. I believe it will be a smoother process this time. I have amazing supportive people in my life. Cross your fingers.
